Initial Ideas

I was not convinced about doing the first idea, I was getting out of ideas on counterfeiting London and I thought I couldn't progress this idea More and I was getting bored of this idea. I talk to a tutor, they told me that if I got lost and I didn't know in which direction to take the project, I should focus on the first thing that interested me whilst getting into the research, this was how funny I found counterfeit products in Peru, specifically the DVD covers because of how I can contacts and how fake funny these look at first glance. I decided this was the way I wanted to take the project, create imagery, through dvds that was funny and take that peruvian counterfeit element combining all of these to make something new. I was worried that this idea was going to be too literal, as I was goint to just make "memes", I talked to some of my classmates about it and they thought that DVD covers were the perfect media to communicate what I was trying to do.
